Weeks start from the age of 21
At the moment, your weeks worked are already counted before the age of 21. If you are younger than 21, you are more likely to become a participant in the Plus scheme, because your weeks worked before the age of 21 also count. This is about to change. As of 1 July 2023, your weeks worked before the age of 21 will no longer count. So you start from the age of 21 in the Basic Scheme. At that point, you will also start counting the weeks worked.
